PAYNE STEWART GOLF CLUB HIRES GOLF PRO
BRANSON, MO — The new Payne Stewart Golf Club, managed by Hilton Golf, has announced that TJ Baggett has been hired as the club’s Director of Golf.
Mr. Baggett has more than 20 years experience working in golf management positions at award-winning golf clubs in Virginia, Arizona, California and the Bahamas. In addition to managing golf operations and staff, Mr. Baggett has organized and managed hundreds of golf events, including professional and celebrity tournaments and expects to host many for the Payne Stewart Golf Club. Mr. Baggett also developed and operated the largest junior golf program in Virginia, hosting more than 150 kids each summer. One of his passions is teaching the game of golf, conducting more than hundreds of private lessons at his previous courses.
“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to come to Branson, which is quickly gaining popularity as a great golf destination,” said Baggett. “The Payne Stewart Golf Club is an extraordinarily beautiful facility, and a worthy tribute to one of golf’s most admired players.”
Mr. Baggett earned his Class “A” membership in the Professional Golfers’ Association in 1991. He and his wife Erin are relocating to Branson along with their four dogs.
Payne Stewart Golf Club is a tribute course honoring the late golf legend, and is located in Branson, Missouri, the live music show capital of the world, in the areas newest development - Branson Hills. The Payne Stewart Golf Club currently has 9 holes open for play (1-8 and 18) with the remainder of the course opening in May 2009. The Clubhouse is currently open and is being managed by Hilton Golf along with the Golf Course.
